Hi
I'm planning to run a multiple drop test of a plastic container on to a rigid floor. The same container will be dropped 5 times from the same height (to give same impact speed) but the container will hit the floor at different orientations. I've tried using multiple steps in a single analysis but couldn't manage to orient the container for the subsequent impact. Any other approach I can use? Appreciate the suggestions. Thank you

Check the import technique (transferring results between analyses). It might be useful in such a case.

@FEA way

Could you kindly share the process for import technique in Abaqus?
I also want to run multiple drop test for my study and now is surveying for different methods to accomplish it.

There are several examples of import analyses in Abaqus documentation. Check the Example Problems Guide, Benchmarks Guide and Verification Guide.
