My Axis Dissapear :( 1

Hi,

Iam trying to rotate a feature i created with the sketcher. So i Have my 3D body ready and trying to rotate it to another position. First i created an axis to rotate the body around BUT when i use the ROTATION application to rotate the body, the axis i made to rotate around dissapear PLEASEEEEE HELP MEE??????????

Can you elaborate? dissapear? in the graphic window or in the spec tree? Could you post some pictures? and what R and SP?

Hi man thank you for your time. I mean that the sketch of my axis that I made to rotate my 3D body around disappear when I choose the ROTATION function. The axis disappear in the graphic window so I cant choose it as an axis to rotate my body around. Check in the pictures that the ROTATION function in the tree is before the sketch when in choose it. It should be after the sketch to keep the axis shown ??????

Hi,

If you want to rotate the whole partbody (like in your image), just insert an axis system from your Insert menu and rotate around what axis you want.

This is your default axis system for this part.

If you need a specific axis, you can create a line (3D not in sketcher) in a geometrical set and rotate around that line.

the method u gave me does not work. Because i want to rotate the whole bodt around an axis not around its own asix.

Thank you HERO , u saved me, i have another question if its ok for u. I have problem with my sketcks sometimes in this case i want to remove Multi sections solid. so i created my part and draw the diffrent sections that i want to remove by using (REMOVED MULTI-SECTIONS SOLID) function. When i want to choose my sketckes the sketckes dissapear ???? check the attached PIC please?

Is just a simple example. I believe now you can understand what you are doing wrong.

The removed multi section example you have has a problem, if you look at the order you will notice that the sketches are after the object in work(the underlined feature) and therefore will not be shown(calculated). What you should do is to create a geometrical set and there store all sketches and you will not have issues like this
