Dear sir,

I have a queries on name plate of pressure vessel
without Code stamping.
Usually we attach name plate in the name of supplier of fabrication.
However, when we supply vessel equipment through sub-contactor who is incharge of fabrication of vessel.
In this case, our name plate is to be created by sub-supplier (Fabricator)
so, the name plate show two company, the one is of supplier and the other one is of fabrication.

Is this format is correct or any discrepancy according to ASME.

ASME does not govern pressure vessels that are not ASME Code stamped?

IF vessel IS Code stamped, the Certificate Holder's Stamping/Nameplate shall be located in a conspicuous place on the vessel, preferably near a manhole or handhole Ref. UG-116(j)of ASME Section VIII-1 and Appendix M (M-3)...and....it IS permissible by the rules of ASME Section VIII-1 for a Manufacturer to place additional information, such as a supplier’s name and/or logo to the left of the Code required markings but below the Code "U" Stamp provided the required marking arrangement is substantially as shown in Fig. UG-118.

There are three kinds of people in this world; those who can count and those who can't.
