Hi everyone!

Does anyone have a web reference to a guide for writing batch files for solving in Nastran?

Cheers!

Do you mean how to run several Nastranjobs after each other with no user input?. Basically running from the filename.dat decks?

If so, try:

C:\"solverfilelocation"\solver\bin\nastran filename.dat scr=no

If not, explain further.

Regards

Thomas

Thomas,

Thank you for providing the command for calling on the batchfile.

It is actually a friend of mine who asked me this question for a joint project, so I won't be able to get to much into the details.

However, what he wants to do is to write the actual batch file. I.e. he would like to know if there is any online (or non-online) literature for the actual commands determining things such as type of solver used and load step size. He would also like to apply the loads - both for psd analyses and transient ones - through the batch file.

Thanks!
