Nastran simulation- NO Results

i have followed a given tutorial in NX6 documentation. i did all the steps correct and solved it.. and NX showed it was completed. but then when i go to post-processing navigator.. it don't show any results where it should show according to the documentation.. pls help.. how to see this results.

Check the directory in which you did the simulation for the existence of *.f06 file. The f06 is a text file which, if the simulation succeeded, will contain the results output. If the simulation didn't succeed, the f06 file might be blank, or might contain a message indicating why it failed.
 
found f06 file.. it shows 0KB... and there was a text file..

at end it says unable to open unit 8.as shown above. is that the prob?? how to fix it??? solving operation completed correctly... seems like the prob it NX dont write results.. pls help
 
which version and maintenance pack of NX6 are you using? 64-bit or 32-bit?
 
Dear NX6loader,
You have to update your NX Nastran software as is experienced the famous April 1st, 2009 "Date Check" error.
Siemens PLM has resolved the problem with a software patch that changes a binary integer value and in effect changes the date check algorithm to allow the program initialization to proceed.

Patch can be downloaded from (you will need a valid WEBKEY), check your local GTAC for assistance.
