Hello mates.. I really have a problem. I am using ADAMS/View 2010 an d I try to set a simple four cylinder (4 stroke) engine to run. My problem is the following.
-I have put a small torque that applies for one second on the crankshaft ( like the starter does) and then goes away. So the initial turn of the crankshaft is performed. SO far so good.
- Then i need to set the piston force on each of the four pistons. For this I have created a data curve, that show the actual force a piston receives with respect to the crankshaft position. So for example the maximum piston force the piston receives is about at 360 degrees of the crankshaft ( the 4 stroke engine completes its cycle in 720 degrees). In other words I want to apply the piston force according to the data curve diagram and this should apply on the piston every 720 degrees of the crankshaft. How can I do this??
Any help would be really appreciated
Thanks
