Hi
we are installing purified water generation system and i have uploaded the P&ID drawing of the entire plan. Now we have planned to include EDI system at the outlet of Purified water to the EDI system inlet. As a project engineer my manager asked me to get a quote for 500 Liters per hour EDI system. can anyone help me how to give a clear RFQ for getting quotation to the vendors ?
they are asking about what make we need and water parameters like that if anyone expert in this please guide me for a good selection in this. Thanks in advance.

Probably good to read!
Why don't you consider a package (RO+EDI) and ask a third party mastering this process to design, to build and to commission the whole unit according to the regulation you want to follow?
So far you did not supply any data about the quality of the water (specifications).
My view.

Our water quality needs to satisfy the following parameters

ParameterLimit (USP-United States Pharmacopeia)
Conductivity≤ 1.3 µS/cm (at 25°C)
Total Organic Carbon (TOC)≤ 500 ppb (µg/L)
pH5.0–7.0
Microbial Count< 100 CFU/mL

actually we have planned to provide outlet of DM water to the EDI system instead of Raw water. will it work ?

Yes, it will work fine. EDI works as a polishing step. Electrodeionization (EDI) is a chemical-free, electrically-driven water treatment technology used as a polishing step to remove ionized and ionizable species from water, often after reverse osmosis (RO), to produce ultrapure water.

You need to the total DS of the input water to know if your EDI system will handle it.
Most people needing USP water will buy packaged systems that are certified to meet quality.
Having the correct meters/sensors on the system to assure continuous compliance is also key.
