Shunt motor.
Printing Press Duty.
The performance will be similar to an AC induction motor.
The normal speed is 1750 RPM.
If a drive or MG set is used for speed control, the motor should be de-rated when run at less than 1150 RPM due to cooling issues.

Ohm's law
Not just a good idea;
It's the LAW!

It's a standard shunt field DC motor with a stabilizing series field (hence most likely unidirectional rotation unless series field leads are brought out and a connection plate shows how to connect for bidirectional rotation.)

Armature voltage - 550 V Armature current - 440 Amps

Field current - 9.37 A for 1750 RPM and 16.65 A for 1150 RPM.

Motor is rated for constant 300 HP from 1150 RPM to 1750 RPM and hence torque will reduce proportional to speed increase.

It's totally enclosed with an externally driven blower mounted on one end of the motor.

At zero volts, motor will have zero speed and deliver 0 HP (and could have 9.37 A of field applied).
At 550 V, motor will operate at 1150 RPM and deliver 300 HP (assuming full field of 9.37 A).
At 550 V, motor will operate at 1750 RPM and deliver 300 HP (at something less than full field, probably around 5.5 A or so).

The resistance of the (main) shunt field circuit is 16.65 ohm at 25 C.
The motor will draw 440 A at 550 V for a 300 HP load condition.

The motor has a MAXIMUM CONTINUOUS rating - also called "service factor" - of 345 HP (roughly 510 A at 550 V). The main field circuit does NOT have a similar overload rating - it's capped at 9.37 A continuous for thermal reasons.
