I have tried very hard to find a small AC generator on the internet with Zero success.
This has led me to beleive they might not exist.It can only be about 3 inches diameter and at the most 1.5 in wide.I only need about 2 to 3 volts and it will be operated at variable speeds.
I have taken apart a small 6 pole motor from a VCR and re-wired it to work reletively well.I will be making them for my senior project in school and would like to manufacture them.I would like to use a permanent magnet design to do away with the exciter coils, they will probably be nickel coated neodymium.
What I need is the Equations, if they exist, for the number of windings, for a particular voltage, relation to RPM, wire gauge.Any other pertinant info would be very helpful.
Also if any one knows of a product out there that may fit the bill I would be very grateful.
