We are using stainless steel plates as flights on a brazing conveyor

One end is riveted to a chain and stays relatively cool. The other end holds small parts and cycles up and down from about 1400 F over a period of 2 to 3 minutes.

The two areas we would like to improve are warping and scaling. We have tried alumina and ceramics but they do not survive the various shocks.

The easier they are to drill, the better.

2.9” wide
6” long
app.3/16” thick

Thanks,
Tom

P.s. I you wanted to quote on supplying these that would be good.

RA-330, Incoloy, and Incoloy T have outstanding resistance to oxidation up to 1800F and relatively good strength up to 1400F so should withstand warping much better.
