Hello,

I need an assembly saved twice, they will have identical components but different part numbers.
As one will be saved for the customer with their P/N's and the other for internal use.
If I use the save as, it will rename that component in both assemblies.
Do I really need to copy the prt file then rename it and swap it out in the other assy?

Is there a simpler way?

Thanks in advance!

Question, are the part numbers attributes? If so, couldn't you just reference different attributes, I'm assuming, in a drawing or bom?

Hi

I will without doubt, recommend you, to dive into the Clone utility in NX ...
If not you are familiar with this tool, use some time on it....

It is worth...
