Sometime ago I heard of this Aluminum extrusion company that has a software that will allow you to draw machine bases and guards right inside SolidWorks, similar to “FrameQuoter” and “AutoQuoter” for AutoCAD.

Does anyone here know this company’s website or a similar add-in program available for SolidWorks 2004?

I do not know of such an Add-in. If you have the extrusion dims', it is very easy to create them yourself.

I think you're referring to 80/20. No add-in for SWX that I'm aware of, but you can get models of some of their parts through 3D Content Central under Structural Systems.

It is the 100's of accessories that worries me, too much work for me to draw.

If you have used “FrameQuoter” or “AutoQuoter” for AutoCAD, then you know what an incredible time saver this is.

This is the company with the Add-In, but I think they are in bankrupcy:

Yes I have, that is the program I used to used before I fell in love with SolidWorks and believe I ain't going back!!

Thanks anyway.

PS. It is confirmed the company went out of business.

I have create most of the 80/20 parts at my last job. I do not have them with me anymore. But are easy to create.

Tried that already, poor selection, only 15% of their entire catalog parts are available in SWX format.
