I have an application wherein a robot needs to pick a silicon wafer off of a stack. The stack consists of wafers interleaved with sheets of separator paper.

Unfortunately, the silicon wafers have a way of sticking to the interleaf sheets, and to each other. This appears to be due to static electricity. The static fades away after a few seconds, but it does impact our cycle times.

Would you happen to know of any consultants that I can discuss this problem with? Any leads would be appreciated.

We're using containers which are manufactured by our customer, so I don't have any choice in the matter.

We've come up with a series of workable solutions since I posted that inquiry, thankfully.
