Hello everyone,
I am modelling the application of a pressure on a box laying on three wedges. I used contact surface-to-surface between the three wedges and the bottom shell of the box, with some friction(0.2).
unfortunaltely, when I am looking at the energies outputs, the energy due to penalty contact is negative. I tried to eliminate initial penetrations and to add a contact option (overclosure=hard), but it didnt change a thing.
Do you have any ideas how to supress this negative energy? I am really disturbed by this phenomenon, and i can't trust my results until it's solved.
Thank you.
M.
