I currently use DR Abe Blank to nest our parts Im wondering if there is an alternative that is better??? right now DR Abes auto nest is terrible need Software with minimum baby sitting

Dr Abe Blank does excellent nesting if the conditions are given properly. The thing about Dr Abe Blank is that it has a lot of features and it needs to exploited properly.

lightl the auto nest crashes into itself we cannot run an auto nest without me cleaning it up.

@LaserSpyder...Can you put a pic of the error you receive? I've seen sheet does not exist, root element does not exist, a side by side error due to incompatible Microsoft visual c++.. If you have a really good computer this rarely happens. I've seen many people use it without a hassle...

@LaserSpyder....Google CAM2000s. Sold in the US by Advanced Laser Solutions.net. I know they have a customer who gave up Dr Abe to use it.

Don't give up on Dr.Abe is a great Nesting program in my opinion. You just need to get sorted out the basic settings it sounds like.

the biggest problem are the lead ins, im pretty sure I have auto nest settings set up right because if its a simple nest like 1 or 2 parts it well set up a decent nest, but we rarely have nest like that I work for Poison Spyder Customs and we make off road and rock crawling parts for jeeps so I nest entire bumpers with all the parts on one nest so I could have 10-20 different parts on one nest and that's when it gives me funky lead ins that crash and really low sheet use. I can usually cram at least 2 auto nests sheets into one without having it crash so I spend a lot of time nesting I just want software that can help me be on computer less.

I use RADAN , from VERO SOFTWARE to nest. Its good, but has some problems with the drawing smooth operation.

you guys were RIGHT! I had it set up wrong, I had it set up to where there was an invisible square around parts and it wouldn't nest a part in that square, I changed just that one setting and now im getting great nests not the best sequence but I think I can work on that I mean there's like a million options I can play with thank you guys
