Hi,
Bit of a non-technical question. Is anybody aware of any sites that deal with network pricing methodology? I'm talking specifically tariff structures in regard to the regulated network business, as opposed to the retail energy business. Within Australia, many electricity distributors act as both regulated network owners as well as retail businesses. There is ringfencing arrangements between the two arms of the subsidiaries, such that if a retail business wants to offer energy to a business, our regulated network business passes on it's charges to that retailer the same as if it was our internal retailer.
I'm particularly interested in approaches to price signalling in regard to long run marginal cost. I appreciate that this isn't quite within the scope of this forum, but would be thankful if anyone has experience in this area and we could email offline.
Cheers
