neverending update part->asm->part

Does anyone know how to repair this SE mistake

par_1 -|
+ par_2 -|
|-> asm_1
|
| (asm_1 goes as a part copy to par_3 !!!)
|
|-> par_3 -|
+ par_4 -|
|-> asm_2

It's tree structure.
par_3 is my problem - all the time it is out of date.

When I open par_3 it should ask to update ONLY WHEN par_1, par_2 or asm_1 is changed. So after upadte asm_1: par_3 should be correct.

Now
1) I open asm_1.asm - it's correct. (dft for asm_1 has no border)
2) I open par_3 - it's correct (doesn't ask about update asm_1)
3) I open asm_2.asm - SE ASKS- update par_3?
4) After update par_3 - .dft asm_2 still has a border.
5) When I open asm_1 drawing it has border - after update I am in p.1) again!!!

How par_3 from higher level can change asm_1?

This is my project nr_5 this year, and first time I see sth like that.

Sometimes I can't get rid of the gray corners even if my assembly is up to date. It makes me wonder if solid edge may have some troubles keeping track of the updates but to solve the problem I simply create a new view of the assembly and suddenly the gray corners disappear. I'm not sure if it can be the case for you but I think that it can be good to give it a shot.

I had this same problem happen repeatedly last week, it was driving me crazy!

I solved it by opening the assembly and click on the update all links button. When I came back to the draft environment, I did an update of the drawing views and the gray corners disappeared.

Grey corners could indicate out of date links, or often they're caused by out of date mass properties.
Best way is to use the Drawing View Tracker from your draft file and work your way up the assembly tree, opening, updating and saving as you go.

I think moving files around can cause this. Also if you use revision manager but one of the files was open when you tried to do the update this can cause problems.

I've encountered all kinds of variations of this. A lot of them can be fixed by doing updates, and maybe doing a false rename or similar with revision manager. However, I think I've had some that I couldn't fix.

KENAT, probably the least qualified checker you'll ever meet...

Problem is gone now.
For the others:
1)You can open all files, from the bottom file to the top assembly and start updating. After save it should be ok.

2) PatCouture is right. I remember I had gray corners once, but when I did new drawing it was ok. You can also just copy existng view in the same Sheet and it should be ok.

In may case I saw something has chaged during updates (as p.1). I knew it was ok, but I had to copy view in .dft Original had gray corners, Copy not !

3) Try againg after 2 day's I'm sure it will work.
