Hello all,
I am currently a boiler operator with a ME Degree.
I have an opportunity through a network to become a subsea engineer on an oil rig. Obviously with a substantial increase in pay.
I was wondering if anyone here had technical information on subsea engineering? I know the scope of the job and am semi - familiar with equipment used; I just want a better understanding of the job requirements.
The type of subsea is working on an oil rig with hydraulic units such as Blow out preventers, not the subsea design job.
Hopefully a present or former subsea engineer will read this.
Thanks,
MBO
