new opening in existing wall?

Hello, I have a question.
Lets say we have a bearing masonry or RC wall with a RC slab above.
Now we want to make a new opening in this wall. Im wondering, what is a procedure in case that a beam above opening is a steel beam?

How to install this beam and how to provide that there is no space between steel beam and existing RC slab (connection being tight so the beam is actually loaded)? How do they fix a steel beam to supports (wall)? Any deatils and explanation will be appreciated.

Shore the slab before cutting the wall and grout between the beam and slab if you are concerned about bearing
