When I create new rigid elements or CBUSh for that matter, they are displayed in the default 'white' color and not in 'red' color which I have defined. A regenerate also doesnt solve this problem. In the model info pane, i have click or element > by type > right click on rigids > color and OK. this changes the color of all new rigid elements?

any one knows how to have new rigids or any element displayed in the previously defined colors?

The method you used to change colors only changes the colors of the elements in the model indeed.

When you create an element, node or geometry or whatever, it is created with the entity color. You can change it in the preferences:

File - Preferences - Color

Here you can define the enitity colors. I'm not sure what kind of entity a rigid element is, because it does not seem to take the color of the other elements..

(make sure to set the color mode in the F6 menu to entity color!)
