To provide WISP services (from the purely wireless perspective) you would need to do several things…
Firstly, on the Canopy system, you will need six Access Point (AP) units tied together with a Cluster Management Module (CMM). Without that, the units will not be in sync and will interfere with each other. The CMM also provides date/time synchronization.
The six APs will be mounted on the same pole, each pointed 60deg apart. This will provide the 360deg coverage required.

You need to conduct some simple terrain analysis to determine how high to mount the APs. This will predict how large an area you can cover. If you cannot obtain adequate coverage with one cluster, you can install two clusters and connect with the Canopy Backhaul point to point radios. They will plug directly into the CMM as well.

As for the routing issues, TekTips is the place you would need to go.
