Recently in one of my engineering course we were assigned with the task of making an electromechanical device. I need to get a good feel for low cost manufacturers or businesses that sell solenoids, dc motors, motor controllers, microcontrollers, literature and any other compoments that might aid in the design process.

If you have any helpful tips or knowledge that you think that would be help I would appreciate it if you passed it along to a future engineer.

Thanks!

Suggestion: Try
and type the item under Product or Service which will return product categories and product categories are aligned with companies offering the product or service. Many engineers, designers, R&D developers, researchers, students, etc. have to go through this process.
