is there any other training material anyone can recommend?, books etc, i'm new to NX and have been on the courses in june this year, i'm now in the process of modelling and programming simple parts and some of the information from the course has come trickling back, i'm already glad that ive joined this forum and have had some help off people all ready, but I do like to have as many different sources of information at hand to help out.

I can recommend the NX... (fill in your version) for designers handbook from SHAM TICKOO (Purue University Calumet, USA) Will cover Part Modeling, Assembly Design, Surface Design, Drafting and Synchronous Modeling. This is a step by step how-do-i-do-it book.

Best regards,

Michaël.

If you get on the LinkedIn NX group there is a guy who is always post training videos that he comes up with.
There is some colleges that have good on-line stuff for training their students.

If you want books, check out Design Visionaires page.

They are the parent of NXtutorials web site. Steve and his team have an excellent understanding of how to utilize a parametric CAD ssytem to its fuillest.

The name of the group in Linkedin is Unigraphics Users Exchange
Once you are in the group go to the search tab and enter video, there are more in there than I anticipated, from at least two sources.
