New to RISA 3D, lateral frames not getting load in diaphragm 1

Thank you in advance to anyone that can help me. I'm new to RISA 3D.

We have an in house software we use for gravity loads, so I'm wanting to only model the lateral system in the building with the diaphragm. I'm hoping to not need to build out the rest of the building, but I can if that's what it takes. My model right now has only braced frames and shear walls, plus the diaphragms. I haven't put any gravity loads in it, I ran the wind load generator and the load combinations that use the wind loads. All my reactions are zero, so I'm missing something about getting the diaphragm and braced frames to work together. Is it possible to do this? My model is attached. Thanks again.

Risa's technical support is actually pretty good and quick.

However I've had a quick look, Based on what I'm seeing, your load combinations don't call up the appropriate basic load cases.

So in your load combinations, you would need it to either say WLX(red circle on attached), or WLXP1, not just WL(green circles). Alternatively you could just put the number 4, 5, 6(blue circle on attached) etc. for the appropriate basic load case.

The reason you aren't getting any reactions is because there currently isn't any load being applied by any of your combinations.

Jayrod's got it exactly right. The Load Category specified in the Basic Load Cases needs to match that defined in the Load Combinations.

Note: I believe when you generated your load combinations, you would have been given some options about how to have the program expand the WL or EL categories... though I haven't used RISA much in the last couple of years.

Gah! Yes that makes complete sense, I knew I was missing something completely basic. Thank you!
