Hi Everyone,
I am a new user to the forum. I am trying to find out if NFPA 69 requires Flame arresters in a tank farm with interconnected piping and manifolds, isolating each tank, we have flame arresters at the flare/VCU units and lots of tanks have been hard piped to transport the vapor to the Vapor combustion unit. Does anyone have experience with this

Under your condition flame arrestors are not required by NFPA 30.

thank you but I am referring to NFPA 69 (Explosion prevention).

Your mixing two standards together. NFPA 30 takes precedence on storage tanks while NFPA 69 relates to deflagration protection.
