NFPA and pipes material

Looking for information related of which NFPA code permit or not-permit the use of PVC and CPVC pipes in HVAC applications (chilled water, ahu drains, condensated water, other).

International Plumbing Code permit the use of PVC in HVAC applications, but and not sure about NFPA.

I am in a corrsovie environment, coastal salt, we use a lot of plastic. It mainly depends on if you have ceilings that are return plenums or not, we do not run plastic in plenums
