Hi, I hope all is good with you.
I am freelancer and have been working with Australian Fire and safety Company as Designer.
Now i want shift my knowledge from AS References to NFPA,
My question is that, if i want design Fire Hydrant and monitor System form a plant ( Chemical or Else) which NFPA Code i have to use?
i studied NFPA 1, 14, 24 and 291 But non of them are not as AS 2419,
For example: how i could Counting Number of hydrant for a plant accordance to NFPA or What is the a Hydrant Required Pressure and flow rate? in AS2419 For a Hydrant valve, We should provide
10Lit/Sec with 700 kPa but i can't find any thing in NFPA.

i attached a picture as sample design in AS

For industrial, chemical, petrochemical plants NFPA is usually the minimum, with recommended good practice also being the relevant FM or GAP / AXA guidelines, e.g. FM DS 7-14 Fire Protection for Chemical Plants, FM DS 3-10 Private Fire Service Mains, GAP.17.2.1 High Hazard Chemical and Petrochemical Plants, GAP 17.3.1 Refineries and Large Gasoline Plants, and GAP 14 Private Fire Mains, among others....
