I'm just confuse about ammonia slip and ammonia from emission ,when the specification requires CEMS symtem for ammonia(NH3)in waste to energy plant. I'm really not sure whether the sample probe on the stack can take the sampling of ammonia or it merely in appear in emission gas. As I understand they require another ammonia annalyzer at SNCR AREA?( means CEMS in process not regulation) Could everyone suggest me about this system for WtE application. Also SOX @FGR area why do not require monitoring but SO2 from emission instead. If SO2 require the cold dry method seems not suitable method due to it is water soluble do everyone who has experience advise?

Note :: The it's requires CO NO NOx O2 PM SO2 HCL HF Dioxins/furans OPACITY AMMONIA SLIP and flow.

Is this unreacted ammonia, referred to as ammonia slip, can be a by-product of certain NOx reduction processes ?

As your process conditions may exist in high dust, high temperature, high NOx and/or high SO2 environments make most analyzer methods of continuously measuring ammonia unreliable.

You may check Honeywell-UOP professional instrument vendor for their application experience.
