We have a copper clad dielectric antenna material and were instructed to plate it with nickel, then gold for the purposes of wirebonding and groundplane attachment to a MEM's switch.
Question;
does the copper cladding affect results? Options are rolled copper and Electro-deposited Copper.
What thicknesses are standard for this plating of nickel and gold?
Are there various descriptions of the nickel and the gold deposition? as in pure gold or 92% nickel, etc?
What companies are suggested to perform this in low quantity.
thanks,
