Hi

I am simulating a honey comb panel of PP, so i divided the panel in little pieces for meshing. Each mesh has it own material in material table because i want to compare my measuraments (77points hamer excitation) with the simulation and i want that some parameters change in order to get close to the eigenfrequency. But now i'm still in a beginning phase. The core and skins are anisotropic. It boundary conditions are free. When i simulate, i get no results. There is a f06 file, but i don't get what the problem is...F06 is in attachement.
Thanks in advance

I am no expert on FEM, but your f06 file is full of messages "Fatal", which i think means "cannot continue due to...". I do not know the rest of the related messages.

Hello!,
Your material definition table 78 is not correct, the error message in the *.F06 tell you:

*** USER WARNING MESSAGE 6234 (MAT)
G13, G23 AND/OR G33 ARE NONZERO ON MAT2 ENTRY ID= 78 WHICH IS REFERENCED IN THE MID3 FIELD OF A PSHELL ENTRY.
THEY WILL BE IGNORED, SHEAR FLEXIBILITY IS SET TO ZERO.
*** USER FATAL MESSAGE 4291 (EQD4D)
FOR ELEMENT WITH ID = 1
THE MATERIAL ROUTINE -MAT- RETURNS A 2X2 J-MATRIX FOR MATERIAL ID = 78 WHICH IS SINGULAR.

Revise your material definition.
Best regards,
Blas.
