Does anyone know of a way to hide certain types of entities the way it worked in V4 using *pt, *fac, etc.? That would be really helpful and much less time consuming.

There are power input commands like you are mentioning, but I don't have a list of all of them.

You can use the search command (Control+F). Under Type, select your Workbench (eg GSD) and your entity type (eg surface). You can also specify color, etc.. Hit the binoculars icon and it will select all relevant entities. Hit okay and then hit Hide/Show.

If you look at what you are doing in the search window, you can learn the power input command.

In the example above, I can select all surfaces by typing the following into the power input box:
*generative shape design.*surface

It's annoying to do it that way, though. The Search command is better.

^^ actually, you don't need the *generative shape design.

.*surface will work.
.*curve gets all curves.

etc., etc.

Just play with Search and you can learn the ones you'll use most often.

Brad...

another way in the GSD workbench is use TOOLS + HIDE (or SHOW), and then just pick the geometry type you want.
