Nodal temperature dropped right after the start of simulation

Hi, I am doing a 3D cutting of a certain material. I set my initial temperature to 293K for both the tool and workpiece by usiing predetermined field(for initial step). I tried to extract the nodal temperature of tool tip and I realised that the temperature dropped drastically right after the cutting commenced. Same thing happened to my workpiece and tool nodes.
I did the same cutting on 2D and didnt encounter such problem.

It would be great if anyone could provide some guidance. Thank you in advance.

Such issues are often caused by too coarse mesh. Refining it may help.

I tried to reduce element size but I still got the same results.
I assumed that my element size is small enough so far.

Do you have any idea? Thank you very much.
