Could either be just the generic standards that are not specified for the Class 1E equipment, such as IEEE-450 for batteries...or the non-class 1E equipment might impose Class 1E IEEE standards, but not impose the higher requirements necessary for dedication/qualification. It really depends on what the design specification requires.
