Hi Everyone,

Objective of my analysis: Cantilever beam one end is base excited and the other end a tip load acting which varies with deflection of the tip. I want to see response of the beam for different frequencies of base excitation (basically i am doing harmonic analysis).

Problem encountered: I can specify load-deflection curve for nonlinear spring by different deflection, force points. In between the points, ansys uses linear interpolation.
Is there any other way to apply force which varies with deflection continuously or at least better than this combin39 element? I mean as in transient analysis, we can specify force as a function of time, can we specify force as function of deflection?
