I have a static test fixture where I am measuring static torque on a 10mm shaft supported on two 6200 304 stainless deep groove ball bearings. Radial loading is 15N per bearing.
I wish to mimimize bearing friction and radial deflection.
Static friction is being measured at 0.7 mNm. Standard steel 6200zz are about half that.
Bearing must be non magnetic.
Any ideas how I could optinize arrangement? I am considering all ceramic bearings but I am finding it difficult to locate suppliers.
I am open to re-design and different sizes.
