Nominal might refer to std schedule.

So my guess would be NPS2 std schedule.

Nope. It is on a pipe chart from Kelly Pipe. I have some carbon steel .154"x 6.625"OD pipe in the field. I have never seen that before and am looking for some sort of description.

Sometimes its possible to do all the right things and still get bad results

It looks like API-5L line pipe is available in 0.156" thickness, might that be it?

To add to the confusion, 0.154" is the thickness of standard weight 2" pipe.

Maybe they mean "non schedule" pipe, meaning it doesn't fall under Sch. 40, Sch. 80, etc.- which some pipe doesn't.

In the API-5L Standard, they say to designate OD and wall thickness, etc.

It's 6 inch pipe, not 2 inch. What does that chart list for all 6 inch varieties?
