Take a look at asa b5.12-1958-bell type. May be a hint. Greetings from Belgium (Europe).

body dia = .5"
drill dia = 3/16"
bell dia = .4"
drill length = 3/16"

You can find it in the Machinery Handbook.

Thank you. I found it in the Machinery's Handbook. It's an old one: seventeenth edition dated 1964. I didn't know ANSI and ASA could be the same. As an European I'm easier with DIN, ISO, BIN, NEN, and that kind of stuff. Greetings from Belgium (Europe).

My pleasure.
In the Europe I'd use some metric standard.
Greetings to Belgium, (Europe) from an exEuropean!
