A portable 3D printer that uses your phone's screen to cure. Resolution is supposedly 42 micron.

That's interesting.

Side note: They really missed an opportunity to not have an 'about' page titled Why Olo? / Y OLO

There are places you can pickup perfectly good c-phones for pennies on the dollar. They've now reached the level of being depended on for user interfacing to any product. It used to be you couldn't design that way because it meant your customer had to be a C-phoner. That time has passed as these nice cheap ones abound and can be bought for just a single task and are way cheaper than any other HMI custom or otherwise.

My son (computer consultant) showed me last week a very small, nice, C-phone he picked up just to be his music player. He has no contract on it and uses it on the WiFi for everything including downloading his music to it.

My current phone is about 7 or 8 years old now, and I originally had it without a contract, just to be a gps device. I have never signed up for kickstarter stuff before, but this one is cheap enough and interesting enough that I blew this month's mad money on it. We'll have to wait until September to find out if it was worth it or not...

I hesitated on the Tiko (delta style 3D printer) in Kickstarter and regret it. You'll have to let us know the outcome.

Got home Thursday evening with a "what the hell" attitude and decided to toss my hat in the ring.

I've been wanting to play with these types of resin parts and couldn't justify buying a $800-1500 machine just to play with. We'll see how it goes.

I didn't look... what are they (over)charging for the resin?
