NX 11 on Win 11 Pro - Not backward compatible with Win 10 Pro

Was having some NX performance issues on Win 11 OS (Slow wave link updates)

Decided to take the data back to an older Win 10 machine and see if the issues ported over or not.
Turns out I can't even work with it on the Win 10 machine.

It loads but I'm getting a "signal 11" error. No solids display at all.
Also getting "memory errors"
Something here is highly incompatible.

It's not just one bad file either.
It appears to be everything I've done on the Win 11 machine since it was put in action.

Anyone else experiencing anything like this?

Been out of maintenance so long now but have never had any real challenges.
This issue is a real threat now.

Following.

We bit the bullet and switched to Xaas 2 years ago, since they made it so expensive to stay on Maintenance. Our sister company is about to make that decision soon.

if you're off maintenance, what happens if you need to move your license? in the past I'd just leave the "old computer" as a license server. but with win10 going away, we won't be able to keep it on the network anymore due to lack of updates.

You can pay a one time fee to get your license server moved...
Prior to covid it was about 1K$

Your license server doesn't need to be connected to the internet to be on your local network.
It will still serve up licenses.
As long as it's not connected to the internet and your not placing any data on it, you can run it without stressing over security.

Did some further testing last eve using a different Win10 machine.

Turns out there was something corrupt with the first one.
The second machine worked just fine.

The slow updates in Win11 were connected to an extracted body in the seed files, used for part listing dims.
Re worked that and all updates just fine now.

Phew...
