NX 2206 Search Menu

Frankly, the new search menu in NX 2206 sucks! It's slower and it takes up the full screen. I surveyed some other users in my company, since I'm not a daily user and they confirmed the same sentiments. Is there a way to customize it and restore the smaller version so it doesn't take up the full screen? I will continue to search but its extremely annoying.

i guess you can tear it off the tab and resize it and it retains, i guess this works.
