Last when I used NX was NX 9.
Can someone show me how to move a body in NX 2212, please?
I tried using Ctrl+T (that's how it was before), but it doesn't work....
Thanks

There is no separate "move body".
Menu- Edit-Move or Menu- Edit - Transform.
The Transform is the legacy "move-function" stripped from move /copy but still contains a few very capable functions that the newer "Move" does not have.

If you're moving an imported dumb solid move face with selection set to feature can be used, otherwise if it is a parameterized model move face with boss or pocket faces can be used, just pick one of the outside faces that is obviously not a boss or pocket.

Multicaduser,

Thank you for reply.
Your ID looks very suggestive: other than NX, what other systems can you handle?

Hey cad2015, how do you count other systems? The beginning was Autocad 2.6 on dos 2.3 to Autocad 10 on windows 3.1. Ancient history. Currently it's just NX, Solidworks, and Alibre Design Expert. There are others on the forum who are versed in many more and it's fun lurking here learning from them.

Multicaduser,

Catia, SolidWorks and NX (up to NX 9); both Chassis and Electrical.
I enjoy working on more than one CAD systems, it's like a brain fitness....

may be i'm very nostalgic but I still use the transformation command,
But if you want that it works like it was before
you have to add the variable
UGII_ENABLE_TRANSFORM_LEGACY_OPTIONS
and set the value to: 1
otherwise you don't have all the options (see the image)

I actualy work with NX 2007
and soon NX 2406

Kind of funny and maybe not...
I started working for "McDonnel Douglas Information Systems", in June 1990.
( Which is "one name" in the long line of "company names" that has owned and developed Unigraphics/ NX )
My first Unigraphics version was V7, released 1989. and -
that Transformations menu is basically identical between UG V7 and NX2406...,
Its's probably due to that the underlying code for "Transformations" is free from bugs, the developers do not dare touch it, and neither dare change the dialog. :)
