NX has a 3D input devices settings command.
Mine is greyed out, even while in modeling.
I have the small 3DConnexion SpaceMouse.
Does anybody has suggestions on how to "ungrey" it ?

Hello Jerry,

If my memory serves me right, my friend had similar problem and he used older drivers for Space Mouse.
You can try, but no promises it will help.
(Second options - buy new Space Mouse [dazed])
Or ask somebody from 3dConnection?

Best regards

1) make sure that you are running a driver that is supporting your device, i have recent experience that a "too new" driver did not work with a old spacemouse.- We downloaded a matching legacy driver from 3D connexion and it worked as expected again.
2) there are 3 windows variables setting where the 3dconnexion software is located, check that these contains "some files" ...

Tomas

The more you know about a subject, the more you know how little you know about that subject.

I did reload the drivers, as mentioned, and after I did it I noticed something else.
Prior to that my 3D CONNEXION tab was not checked on.
You may verify it is on to make life easier for yourself.
Thanks for the replies.
