I have machined a feature onto the side of a cylinder and I would like to copy rotate 5 times.I have tried RMB , Object , Transform Circular array.But It will not rotate around the cylinder center. Could anyone help?

Are you trying to copy the toolpath or the geometric feature? What version of NX are you running? Can you provide us at least a picture, if not the actual part file, to look at to see what you're attempting to do?

To an Engineer, the glass is twice as big as it needs to be.
 
Object Transform for Tollpath usually working no problem, like "gun".... You can move toolpath,
Copy toolpath or create instances. For last case any changes for parent will reflected on a kids.
 
Here is a basic model, I am not allowed to show the customer data.Using NX10 and the rotation axis is the cylinders main axis. Having done the machining in one recess I did not want to recreate the paths 5 more times. Our old cam lets me define my path once then copy five times over 360 degrees.

Select the operation, MB3, object, transform, rotate about line, instance.
