Running NX 1892. Been working on an assembly file for a couple days. In one of my section views the crosshatching suddenly disappeared. Have updated the view, tried moving the section line, etc. with no luck. It is just one view on one sheet. Other views are still crosshatched. Any thoughts? Thanks

Check your view settings on the drawing.
"Create Crosshatch" could have accidently been turned off

Thanks Jerry. I had tried that previously also. I have even tried turning it on and off with no luck. Thanks anyway. Brian

I think that the default for newer NX versions is to load a lightweight body when opening an assembly. Perhaps the lightweight body isn't playing nicely with the section view. Try fully loading the components involved in the section view.

Also, bad geometry can lead to errors in drafting views. Use the 'examine geometry' command on the bodies in the section view.

cowski,

Thanks for the suggestions. While checking on the component load state, I clicked one of the components in the Assembly Navigator off, then updated the views, then clicked the component back on in the navigator, and updated the views again, and the crosshatching for that component came back.

I'm not smart enough about NX to know why, but that seems to be a fix.

Thanks again.

The crosshatch might , by accident, be hidden ?
It is selected , one do not notice that, one selects something else to hide and..

Regards,
Tomas
