Hi everyone,
does any here know if NX Open for IronPython is able to use both the Python and C# syntaxes?
Our NX Open supplier is able to support us in C#, but we have a lot experience with Python whereas our knowledge of C# is quite limited. It would be great if we could skip the C# learning curve as the NX Open learning apparently is already steep enough.
As far as I understand, IronPython is an implementation of the Python syntax written in C#. So IronPython can use the .net framework, but uses the Python syntax and libraries. Does that mean that our Python code can be converted to C# by a simple click of a button so that our supplier can support us?
Do you feel it is worth putting effort in, or would you say that we should just go with C#?
Any comments would be greatly appreciated!
Cheers
