I am running NX10 and I have the usual Assembly Constraints used to locate components in an assembly that I can see and select in the Assembly Navigator. When I do a Menu > Information > Other > Layer the Information window shows me the ones I mentioned above plus an additional 52 Assembly Constraints on another layer that I have no idea where or what they are. Can someone please help me on where they are so I can either delete them of move them to another layer?

Thank you,
Gary Ashby

Right click on "constraints" in the assembly navigator, and toggle ON "display constraints in the graphic window". Now you should be able to select them, and figure out what they apply to.

Another possibility is that you have a constraint that is no longer attached to anything. This can happen a few ways, the most common one is when you delete a component out of the assembly; NX will ask if you want to delete the constraints as well - if you answer "no", the constraints hang around in the assembly. To get rid of these, run the part cleanup with the "clean assembly constraint objects" option turned on.

Thank you to those that answered and tried to point me in the right direction. I found that those Assembly Constraints that I was trying to find were part of a sub-assembly component in my part file. I was able to move them to the layer I needed to.

Thanks again for your help.
