NX10 sketch ellipse 1

Is it possible to create a sketch ellipse utilizing only points ?
The ellipse menu I get requires me to enter a major and minor axis, but appears to have the ability to select points that I do not think I have the ability to use.

When making your point selection, make sure that field is highlighted in the dialogue box.

I think my problem was that I was trying to make the minor axis bigger than the major axis.

I think some intergalactic electronic interference must have occurred when you tried.
I have no problems snapping points to define a ellipse, but i must highlight the respective step in the dialog as Mmauldin says.
and the minor radius can be bigger than the major, and that relation can flip.

Yes, I was thinking intergalactic electronic interference too, but I have been hearing from others here about things that could be graphics card related, so we'll see about that.
