nx11 automatic application change

Beginning with NX11, when switching windows, an automatic change of the application is executed. This means, that the part changes to the application in which it has been last saved. (drafting mode / model mode) While I see the benefits of this, is there an option to not automatically change application? Thanks.

Customer defaults -> Gateway -> general -> part -> enter application where part was last saved or displayed.

The above is listed as a part specific setting, which seems a bit odd to me. I would have thought it was a session setting.
Try it out (make sure to restart NX after making the change), it might do what you want.

Thanks Cowski for the reply. It appears that this setting will start a new model where it was last saved. But it doesn't seem to change the application behavior when switching windows.

It looks like that option was removed in NX 12 and later; maybe because it didn't work properly?
