I have several (50+) parts that are all essentially rectangular plates of varying size with a few holes of different locations. I'm trying to minimize the amount of repetitive work when it comes to getting these made. My thought was to avoid making drawings entirely, and do this through model-based definition (PMI).
My question is, is there a way to somehow batch apply the same PMI scheme to every part perhaps based on certain features? For example, the feature named "Extrude 1" in Part Navigator of every part is assigned Datum A, or add a vertical dimension between certain faces, etc.
This would be incredibly useful and eliminate the need to apply PMI to each individual part.
Any help or suggestions much appreciated.
Thanks!
