We have Drafting Notes that read attributes from the Properties.

ea... PAINT CODE: <W@PAINT_CODE>

I was wondering if it is possible to place code that will read the properties from a solid body?

Logically it seems the problem with this would be that if there are multiple bodies, it wouldn't know which body to read the attributes from. But is it possible to do this if there is only one solid body in the modeling side?

If not possible, how difficult would it be to write a journal that would look for a solid body and get the attribute from it, and then add a note to the drafting sheet with that attribute in the note? For instance in Drafting, I would run the journal, it would grab the STOCK_SIZE attribute from any solid body it finds in modeling, then add a note to the sheet in drafting "STOCK SIZE: 3" X 2" X 86MM"

The note dialog allows you to insert an object attribute; it will prompt you to select the object then it will present a list of attributes on that object that you can use. Place one of these notes and check out the resulting text of the note; your NXOpen code would need to look similar (there are some commands to help create the note).
